Euroquipe exhibited the new Mobile High Pressure Foam Firefighting system at the Chief Fire Officers Conference on May 7th and 8th last in Galway. This was our first opportunity to exhibit this system in Ireland and the CFO's, SACFO's,  ACFO's, Station Officers and other interested parties we spoke to provided us with invaluable advice.

1. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
2. Most visitors could immediately think of how it could benefit them.
3. There was general agreement that the system has a number of applications especially where there is low water availability, where an appliance cannot reach or where fast responses are required.
• Remote grass/gorse/woodland fires
• Difficult to access areas such as multi story carparks
• Built into rapid intervention vehicles to get through traffic fast.
4. Building it into the back of a Jeep with an onboard watertank or onto a trailer / water bowser were the most common requests.
5. It is not perceived as being expensive.

Our main message is that this system is completely customisable and reasonably portable. It will fit easily into the average Jeep or Pick Up (Land Cruiser, L200, Ranger, Hi-Lux etc..). Flow rates between 13LPM and 30LPM are possible as is twin gun operation with hose lengths up to 60m. The technology is completely proven and extremely robust. It offers Irish Fire Brigades a new tool to help fight certain types of fires in a more efficient manner.

The next step for Euroquipe will be to demonstrate the High Pressure Foam Fire Fighting system at various Stations around the country. We hope to commence this in early June at a number of Fire Stations around Ireland who have already offered to make their facilities available to us.
