CAT PUMPS' triplex high-pressure pump design features three synchronized piston [plunger] rods that deliver a smooth, consistent flow. CAT PUMPS also feature 90% overall efficiency and the triplex design of their high-pressure piston and plunger pumps eliminates 90% of traditional pulsation. The pump pressure is adjusted by the restriction in the discharge line and is controlled by adjusting a pressure regulator or a pressure unloader valve.
